Unified Programs promote meaningful community participation by providing opportunities for integrated sports or recreational activities that bring together individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (Special Olympics athletes) and typically developing individuals (Unified Partners). These programs encourage playing, training, and competing as a single team, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community. Opportunities are implemented in partnership with schools, sports clubs, and public and private sectors.

Unified Sports Program
Unified Sports help build friendships and create a community that understands and embraces inclusion. The program encourages schools and social institutions to integrate and involve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in society through sports, leadership, and mentoring activities, providing them with opportunities for engagement and a dignified life.
